Cape Verde Tourist Visa

Your passport must remain valid for a minimum of six months beyond your planned duration of stay and must include at least one blank page designated for the entry stamp.
It should be accurately completed and signed.
Additionally, you are required to provide one recent passport-sized color photograph.
Proof of onward travel from Cape Verde is necessary.
Along with hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a host in the country.
You must also present evidence of adequate financial resources to support your stay, such as recent bank statements.
Lastly, proof of travel insurance that covers medical expenses for the entire duration of your visit is required.

Yellow Fever Vaccination: If you are traveling from or transiting through a country where yellow fever transmission is a risk, you may need to present a copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever.
Cover Letter: A personal cover letter should be included, outlining the purpose of your visit and detailing your travel itinerary.
An online registration should be done and 3,400 CVE should be paid online.

Time can vary but, it is recommended to apply at least 2-3 weeks before departure.

You may submit your application either in person or via mail to the closest Cape Verdean diplomatic mission.

Present your application form along with the supporting documents to the embassy or consulate.
Remit the required visa fee as per the instructions provided by the embassy or consulate.
Subsequently, await the processing of your visa application.
Upon approval, retrieve your visa following the guidelines given by the embassy or consulate.
